Dress Code

Please review the dress code for your dancer’s class. Proper dance attire helps instructors see body alignment and movement clearly and keeps dancers safe during class.

Girls:

• Pink Flava leotard

• Pink tights

• Pink ballet shoes

• Hair slicked back into a neat bun

Boys:

• Black sweatpants or gym shorts

• Black Flava T-shirt

• Black ballet shoes

 

Creative Movement

 

Girls:

• Pink Flava leotard

Boys:

Ballet

 

Girls:

• Pink, tan, or skin-tone convertible tights

• Tan or black jazz shoes

• Hair slicked back into a neat bun or ponytail

Boys:

• Black sweatpants or gym shorts

• Flava T-shirt

• Black jazz shoes

 

Salsa / Bachata

 

Girls:

• Black Flava leotard

• Black leggings

• Red or black shorts

• Red skirt

• Tan salsa shoes

• Hair slicked back into a bun or ponytail

Boys:

• Black Flava Dance T-shirt

• Black gym shorts or sweatpants

• Black jazz shoes

Adult Salsa:

• Dancer’s choice

• Salsa shoes or jazz shoes

 

Acro / Gymnastics

 

Girls:

• Black Flava leotard

• Black leggings

• Convertible tights

• Red or black shorts

• Hair slicked back into a ponytail or bun

Boys:

• Black sweatpants or gym shorts

• Black Flava T-shirt

 

Flamenco

 

Girls:

• Black Flava leotard

• Black character shoes

• Long red ruffle satin flowy skirt

• Red Spanish folding fan

Women:

• Black top

• Long red ruffle satin flowy skirt

• Black character shoes

• Red Spanish folding fan

 

Pom Dance

 

Girls:

• Black Flava leotard

• Black leggings

• Black shorts

• Split-sole jazz shoes in their skin tone

• Pom poms purchased through the instructor

 

Important Safety Guidelines

For the safety of all dancers:

• No necklaces, bracelets, watches, or rings may be worn during class.

• Only stud earrings are permitted.

• If your dancer needs additional support, please make sure they wear a black or skin-tone sports bra underneath their leotard.
