Step Up for Students at Flava Dance Academy
Use Your Step Up Funds for Flava Dance, Pom, and gymnastics Classes!
We’re excited to offer families the opportunity to use their Step Up for Students
scholarship funds toward classes at Flava Dance Academy.
As a Step Up direct provider, we make it easy for you to enroll your dancer with us and
use your scholarship funds toward eligible dance tuition.
How to Get Started
1. Register Your Dancer with Flava
Start by visiting our registration page and enrolling your dancer in the dance classes
you would like them to attend.
When completing your registration, you may be asked to enter a credit card. Please
note: your card will only be charged if your Step Up funds are not available or do not
cover the applicable charges.
2. Reserve Your Step Up Funds
After registering with Flava Dance Academy, log into your Step Up for Students account.
From your Step Up account, search for Flava Dance Academy and select us as your provider.
Be sure to reserve the appropriate amount of funds for your dancer’s enrollment.
Important: If you have more than one dancer, please make sure the funds are reserved
under the correct student’s account, since scholarship funds are assigned to the
participating student and cannot be transferred between siblings.
Please remember to reserve your funds by the 1st of each month for the upcoming
month’s tuition.
3. Send Us Confirmation
Once you’ve completed your Step Up reservation, please email us to let us know your
child’s funds will be paid by step up.

This allows our team to verify your reservation and make sure everything is properly
documented in our system.
4. We’ll Take Care of the Rest!
Once we receive your email, our team will verify the Step Up funds and apply them to
your Flava Dance Academy account.
You don’t need to worry about making a separate tuition payment to us when your Step
Up funds are successfully processed.
Please allow time for Step Up funds to be processed and reflected in your account.
Important Step-Up Information
Registration Fee
The Flava Dance Academy registration fee is $35 per dancer. Additional siblings are
$15 registration fee.
Monthly Tuition
Your Step Up funds can be used toward eligible dance, gymnastics and pom tuition
based on the classes your dancer is enrolled in.
Your dancer must remain enrolled in the classes associated with the funds reserved
through Step Up.
Step Up Funds Are Student-Specific
Step Up funds are connected to the individual participating student. If you have multiple
dancers, please double-check that you are reserving funds under the correct student’s account.
Refunds
Payments made using Step Up scholarship funds are subject to Step Up for Students’
policies and Flava Dance Academy’s policies. Please contact our office before making
changes to your enrollment.
Your Step Up Checklist
Before you’re finished, make sure you have:
☐ Registered your dancer for classes at Flava Dance Academy
☐ Logged into your Step Up for Students account
☐ Selected Flava Dance Academy as your provider
☐ Reserved the appropriate funds for your dancer
☐ Reserved funds by the 1s of the month
☐ email us about your child’s funds being paid through Step Up
☐ Confirmed that your dancer’s classes and Step Up enrollment match
